In a shocking news reaching us this morning, South Africa songstress Boity, stole the lyrics of her to her song “Bakae”.
According to reports from South Africa news site, All4Women, Boity, allegedly stole the lyrics, flow and structure of UK based female rapper and Youtuber, Karen Francis.
The report, is based on a post made by Karen, on her her Instagram handle which questioned the legitimacy of most singers around the world.

According to All4Women, upon reaching out to Karen, she disclosed that she was in utter shock, as the song Bakae by Boity, portrayed her song titled “Cake” in so many ways.
Speaking to All4Women, Karen said:
“I listened to Bakae and I was in a completely state of shock because I recognised so many elements of the song instantly. I could recognise my signature and my structure on Boity’s verses. I’m a songwriter and I can write a song in minutes. I took time to really structure that song [Cake] to really put my signature on it and show a part of me that people are not acquainted.”
Remember that Boity, last year, was accused of not being the real owner of her song Wuz Dat, that, rapper, Nasty C whom she had featured in the record, was the one who had given her the lyrics which she used in/on the track.

Karen, is seriously hurt, as she feels her work of over 13 years could be tarnished plagiarism in a twinkle of an eye by one of South Africa famous rappers.
